What it is
ChatAman runs an MCP server (Model Context Protocol). Any assistant that supports remote MCP servers, such as Claude, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or VS Code, can connect to it and work inside your organization with the permissions you choose.
Server address: https://chataman.com/mcp
What an assistant can do
- See your connected social accounts and what each one can do right now.
- Browse and upload media to the media library.
- Write post drafts, validate them and send them for approval.
- Publish, schedule, reschedule and cancel posts on Facebook and Instagram.
- Edit or delete posts that are already live, where the platform allows it.
- Read comments, propose replies for your approval and flag comments for review.
- Read post analytics, account insights and publishing reports.
- Search products and create or update bookings (sales).
How access is protected
- One organization per connection. A connection is locked to the organization you chose; the assistant cannot switch it.
- Your role is checked on every call. The assistant can never do more than your own role allows, and losing a permission removes it from the assistant immediately.
- You choose the permissions. Start with read-only access and add actions only when you need them.
- Confirmation before publishing. By default, publishing needs a code you confirm in ChatAman. You can turn on autonomous publishing with limits if you want the assistant to publish on its own.
- Comment replies need a person. Replies proposed by an assistant are drafts until someone approves the exact text.
- Everything is logged and you can revoke a connection at any moment.
Two ways to connect
| Method | Best for | How |
|---|---|---|
| Sign in with ChatAman (OAuth) | Claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Codex | Add the server address, then sign in and choose the organization and permissions. |
| Connection token | Cursor, VS Code, scripts, any client | Create a token in Developer tools → AI assistants and add it as a header. |
Next steps
- Read Connect Claude or Connect Codex, Cursor and VS Code.
- Review Permissions and safety before giving publishing access.
